Pasquale Richard "Rick" Membrino

Pasquale Richard “Rick” Membrino, 68, died on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Rick was born in Springfield on November 4, 1955, the son of George E. and Jane Bartini Membrino. He was an honors graduate of the University of Connecticut. He worked as a landscape design artist, restored and upholstered antique furniture and proudly volunteered at Holyoke Medical Center in the print shop. Rick was awarded volunteer of the year by Holyoke Medical Center in 2014.
Rick had a profound love of his Catholic religion, family and nature. Traveling, writing and rooting for the Patriots and Red Sox filled his free time. Rick will be remembered for his gentle disposition, acceptance of life’s challenges, empathy and commitment to volunteering in his community.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his mother, Jane Membrino of Lee; his siblings, Diane Wespiser and her husband, Robert, of Lee, Marc Membrino of Lee and Julia Hutton and her husband, Mark, of Boxborough. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews; Bryan Wespiser and his wife Lisa, Adam Wespiser, Emily Andenmatten and her husband Steve, and Evan Hutton and his wife Andrea. Additionally he leaves behind five adored great nieces and nephews.
Pasquale was predeceased by his father, George E. Membrino and his nephew, Alexander Richard Hutton.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2024, 12 Noon at St. Mary’s Church in Lee. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30AM at the Kelly Funeral Home in Lee.
