Norma Adelina  Tokoly (Brighenti)
Norma Tokoly, 82, of East Street in Lee, died Tuesday at Lee Health Care Center.
She was born in Lee on April 29, 1936, the daughter of Marshall and Adelina “Lena” Cadenelli Brighenti. She graduated from St. Mary’s Parochial School and attended Lee High School.
Mrs. Tokoly was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church and a former member of its Choir. She was a former member of the Sweet Adeline’s Choir of Berkshire County, enjoyed different crafts including needle point and ceramics, cooking, watching the Red Sox and bowling. Mrs. Tokoly was also an active member of the Sons of Italy.
On June 29, 1957, she married Michael J. Tokoly, he died February 5, 1999.
She is survived by two sons: Michael J. Tokoly Jr. of Lee and Andrew M. Tokoly of Poncha Springs, CO; a sister-in-law: Bette Tokoly of South Carolina and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by two brothers: James M. Brighenti and William Brighenti and a sister, Rena Gleason.
A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Norma Tokoly will be on Saturday at 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church in Lee. Burial will be at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Saturday morning from 9 AM until 10:30 AM at the Kelly Funeral Home.
