Paul M. Nicholas, 49, formerly of Stockbridge, died Saturday November 3, 2018 at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Paul was born in Pittsfield on February 9, 1969, the son of Donald and Jacqueline Sires Nicholas. He was raised in Stockbridge and attended Monument Mountain Regional High School. Paul had worked at Carlson Auto Body in Lee for many years, where he was a talented mechanic and fabricator. He was also a handyman working various jobs for many people in the area.
In his younger years, Paul enjoyed riding motorcycles. His true love was spending time at the family cottage on Goose Pond fishing and enjoying water sports. Paul also had a special place in his heart for dogs. He rescued a pitbull named Cash, who now lives with Paul’s parents.
Besides his parents, Paul leaves behind his sister, Pamela Curtin and her husband, Michael, of Tyringham; his niece and nephew: Madison and Colby as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 5PM at the Kelly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4PM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Berkshire Humane Society or Dakin Humane Society, in care of Kelly Funeral Home, 3 Main St., Lee, MA 01238.
